Suya (Nigeria, Cameroon)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef, sliced thin

  • 3 tbsp suya spice (yaji)

  • 2 tbsp groundnut oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Skewers

Instructions:

  1. Marinate beef in oil and suya spice for 1–2 hours.

  2. Thread onto skewers.

  3. Grill over charcoal or in oven until cooked and slightly charred.

  4. Serve with sliced onions, tomatoes, and cucumber.
